Adopt a Gibbon

Gibby

Gibby

Gibby used to be housed at a locomotion study lab in the state of New York. The lab decided to get rid of its gibbons and sent Gibby's long-time mate Georgia to a zoo. Since gibbons are monogamous animals who pair for life, separating the affectionate bonded couple was cruel. We are hoping to find a companion for Gibby. Gibby loves women and hates men. After he had been at IPPL for several months, Marianne, a former caregiver during his university days, heard about him being with us and called. Could this be the same Gibby, she asked? She was so excited to learn that he is alive and doing well and regularly sends him treats.
